In line with the instructions made by the Party Group at CAAC, CAAC held a teleconference on COVID-19 prevention and control on September 16 to convey and put in place the spirits of the national teleconference on COVID-19 prevention and control, carry out the deployment made at a special session of the Party Group at CAAC and put forward further arrangements for the pandemic prevention and control around the National Day holidays. Deputy Administrator of CAAC Cui Xiaofeng attended and addressed the conference. He emphasized that all entities should firmly implement the decisions and arrangements made by the CPC Central Committee and the State Council and adopt strict and detailed pandemic prevention and control measures to secure the National Day holidays.

At the conference, Cui Xiaofeng made the following requirements. First, we should enhance political consciousness and fulfill political responsibilities. Second, we should strengthen pandemic prevention and control to build a solid shield against the pandemic. Third, we should support and follow the pandemic prevention and control measures adopted for the capital in a strict manner. Fourth, we should provide strong leadership to support relevant work.
