As well, on behalf of Song Zhiyong, Administrator of CAAC, Cui sincerely invited them to visit China.
Cui added that China has strictly abided by the purposes and objectives of the Convention on International Civil Aviation and actively promoted the safe, efficient and sustainable growth of international civil aviation. Under the framework of the Global Development Initiative, China will continue to deepen the all-round cooperation with ICAO to facilitate the implementation of the United Nations 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development and fully leverage the key role of civil aviation in building a community with a shared future for mankind.
Mr. Salvatore Sciacchitano and Mr. Juan Carlos Salazar both appreciated China’s strong support for the development of global civil aviation and for ICAO’s priorities. They recognized China’s status as an important Member State of ICAO and looked forward to China’s further contributions to the safe and orderly development of aviation and the recovery of the aviation sector.
Meanwhile, Cui made extensive exchanges with delegations from 11 countries and international organizations, such as Germany, Brazil and South Africa, on such issues as air transport, technical cooperation, and low-carbon development, and attended the 2022 ICAO Innovation Fair.
