The first International Forum on China Civil Aviation Standardization, a two-day forum themed “Standard Innovation Drives High-Quality Development of Civil Aviation”, was held in Beijing on November 3. Taking place both online and offline, the event was jointly organized by Civil Aviation Standard Innovation Base and China Academy of Civil Aviation Science and Technology (CAST). It is the first large-scale and high-end international forum held by CAAC in the field of standardization. With the theme of “Standard Innovation Drives High-Quality Development of Civil Aviation”, keynote lectures were made on standardization policies, standardization of intelligent civil aviation, building of group standards, and international standardization. At the forum, in-depth discussions were held on hot topics such as intelligent airport construction, international cooperation on sustainable aviation fuel, and the transformation and application of scientific and technological innovations boosted by standardization. The forum set up a platform for exchanging ideas and building consensus to showcase the achievements of China’s civil aviation standardization, promote the deep integration and coordinated development of the aviation industry chain, and especially strengthen exchanges and cooperation for international standardization.
