As the “World Toilet Day” which falls on November 19 approaches, CAAC issued the Guidelines for Development Plans and Facilities and Equipment Configuration of Toilets at Civil Airports (hereinafter referred to as the Guidelines) for the purpose of further improving the service of airport toilet facilities. As the first domestic consultative document on the planning and development of civil airport toilets and the configuration of airport toilet facilities and equipment, the Guidelines provides methodological guidance and systematic technical recommendations on the planning, design, development, operation and maintenance of toilets at civil airports.
