In order to strengthen foreign affairs management under new circumstances and promote high-quality international cooperation in the civil aviation field, CAAC held the Foreign Affairs Conference and Seminar on International Exchanges and Cooperation on May 12, 2023. Cui Xiaofeng, Deputy Administrator of CAAC, attended and addressed the conference. Cui emphasized that all entities should fully implement the guiding principles of the 20th CPC National Congress and firmly pursue a holistic approach to national security under the guidance of Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era. Cui also urged solid efforts in promoting international cooperation in the new era, to provide strong support for the high-quality development of civil aviation and contribute to the major country diplomacy with Chinese characteristics in all aspects.
At the conference, CAAC East China Regional Administration, CAAC Central and South Regional Administration, Air Traffic Management Bureau of CAAC, Beijing Capital International Airport Co., Ltd., Civil Aviation University of China, International Cooperation and Service Center of CAAC, as well as Department of Flight Standard and Department of Aircraft Airworthiness Certification of CAAC shared their experience. Department of International Affairs (Office of Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan Affairs) of CAAC introduced the vision of international work and requirements of foreign affairs management for civil aviation in the new era.
