On May 22, CAAC Deputy Administrator Han Jun met with a delegation led by Sun Shougang, Executive Vice Governor of Henan Province, in Beijing. The two sides exchanged views on promoting high-quality development of civil aviation in Henan.

From January to April in 2023, civil aviation sector in Henan carried 8.653 million passengers and 181,000 tons of cargo and mail, and supported 151,000 aircraft movements, reaching 82.0%, 132.4% and 100.1% of the levels in the same period of 2019 respectively.
