On June 8, Lyu Erxue, Deputy Administrator of CAAC, met with Huang Wenhui, mayor of Xiamen City, Fujian Province, in Beijing. The two sides exchanged views in depth on further promoting the high-quality development of Xiamen’s civil aviation.
In the summer season of 2023, a total of 38 airlines will operate 154 domestic routes from Xiamen Airport, connecting 112 domestic destinations such as Beijing, Shanghai and Guangzhou, with 3,906 scheduled passenger and cargo flights per week. 15 Chinese and foreign airlines will operate 221 scheduled international flights from/to Xiamen per week, connecting 19 countries.
