On July 20, CAAC held a meeting for exchange of experience in improving the usage rates of contact stands at airports with an annual passenger throughput of over 10 million, to discuss recent developments in a timely manner and further promote the special campaign to improve the usage rates of contact stands at airports with an annual passenger throughput of over 10 million. Han Jun, Deputy Administrator of CAAC, attended the meeting and delivered a speech.
At the meeting, the Department of Airport of CAAC introduced the Guidance on Improving the Usage Rates of Contact Stands at Airports with an Annual Passenger Throughput of 10 Million (Draft), and Assessment Measures for Usage Rates of Contact Stands at Airports with an Annual Passenger Throughput of 10 Million (Draft). CAAC North Regional Administration gave a presentation on its work to supervise the implementation of the campaign in North China. Entities including CAAC Air Traffic Management Bureau, Beijing Capital International Airport, Daxing Airport, Shenzhen Airport, Urumqi Airport, Air China, China Eastern Airlines, China Southern Airlines, etc. shared their experience in improving the usage rates. China Airport Planning and Design Institute shared its research on improving the usage rates from the perspective of airport planning and design.
