On August 8, CAAC held the second meeting of the Steering Committee of China Civil Aviation “Belt and Road” Cooperation Platform, to comprehensively implement the decisions and arrangements of the CPC Central Committee and the State Council, systematically summarize the achievements of CAAC’s participation in the “Belt and Road” development in the past decade, and map out priorities for the next step. Cui Xiaofeng, Deputy Administrator of CAAC, was present at the meeting and delivered a speech.

Members of the Steering Committee of the Cooperation Platform and representatives from some of its member entities reported on their participation in the civil aviation “Belt and Road” development, and put forward opinions and recommendations on improving the working mechanism of the cooperation platform. The meeting considered and approved the Charter of CAAC “Belt and Road” Cooperation Platform. Representatives from 16 member entities of the Steering Committee of the Cooperation Platform and 7 member entities of the cooperation platform, including Air China, attended the meeting.
