From August 17 to 19, Cui Xiaofeng, Deputy Administrator of CAAC, led a Chinese delegation to Mexico and held aviation talks with the delegation of Mexican civil aviation authority led by Osuna, Administrator of the Federal Civil Aviation Agency of Mexico.

The two sides had an in-depth exchange of views on establishing and improving the institutional arrangements for cooperation in various fields of civil aviation, accelerating the resumption of passenger transport between China and Mexico, and held consultations on expanding bilateral traffic rights and deepening cooperation between airlines of the two sides. 

The two sides signed a memorandum of understanding on strengthening comprehensive cooperation in civil aviation between China and Mexico and an MOU on traffic rights arrangements.
