On October 25, the Intelligent Civil Aviation Development Forum 2023 with the theme of Drawing a New Blueprint for Intelligent Civil Aviation Development opened in Beijing. Cui Xiaofeng, Deputy Administrator of CAAC, attended the opening ceremony and delivered a keynote speech. 

Cui stated that the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China has laid down clear strategic arrangements to accelerate the construction of a "Digital China", and the Outline of the 14th Five-Year Plan of the country includes "intelligent civil aviation" as an important application scenario within the digital development framework. Currently, intelligent civil aviation has entered a period of data resource aggregation, expansion of application areas, and deepening of technological integration. All entities in the industry should further strengthen their awareness of big picture, systematic thinking, and innovation capabilities. They should consistently consider intelligent civil aviation development as a crucial driver for the high-quality development of the industry, accelerate the construction of new infrastructure, so as to improve the industry's data governance system, accelerate independent technological innovation, and enhance network security and data security. 

The forum, organized by the Information Center of the Civil Aviation Administration of China and co-hosted by the China Civil Aviation News, has the collaboration of entities such as the Capital Airport Holdings, Huawei Technologies Co., Ltd., and others. There were one main forum and six panels, comprising a total of 36 speeches and panel discussions. It focused on four typical application scenarios: intelligent supervision, intelligent operations, intelligent travel, and intelligent logistics. The themes of the discussions included safety management, business integration, process optimization, data governance, data security, and technological innovation.
