On February 22, CAAC held the first Leading Group Meeting on Adjusting the Format of Reporting Airport Pavement Strength. The participants reviewed the Working Plan of the Leading Group on Adjusting the Format of Reporting Airport Pavement Strength and deployed relevant work. CAAC Deputy Administrator Han Jun attended the meeting and delivered a speech.
During the meeting, entities concerned introduced the ICAO adjustment on the format of reporting airport pavement strength, the methods of strength measurement, and the development of measurement software. Representatives from relevant departments of CAAC, CAAC Regional Administrations, CAAC Air Traffic Management Bureaus, China Airport Planning and Design Institute, Tongji University, COMAC among others attended the meeting.
