To further improve the capacity and level of quality management of civil aviation services, meet the diverse needs of passengers, and better stimulate the vitality of the air transport market, CAAC has recently announced the launch of a thematic event of “Year of Civil Aviation Service Quality and Efficiency Enhancement” across the industry.
Since 2016, CAAC has held thematic activities relating to service quality for eight years in a row, focusing on passengers’ expectations and concerns about civil aviation services and continuously introducing measures of convenient services.
This year marks the ninth time of such an event. The theme of the activity aims to deliver on the two outline programs for promoting China as a quality superpower and composing a new chapter of civil aviation in the transport powerhouse drive of China, as well as the “Special Plan for Passenger Services of Air Transport during the 14th Five-Year Plan Period”, promoting the high-quality development of civil aviation.
The objectives of the thematic event include concrete results in important service measures for the public; flight regularity rate at above 80% for domestic passenger airlines throughout the year; increased convenience for passenger air travel; improved capacity and level of service quality management; and effectively unleashing the vitality of the air transport market.
