The 2nd Asia-Pacific Summit for Aviation Safety (AP-SAS) will be held from August 13 to 15, 2024 in Beijing, China. Co-organized by the Civil Aviation Administration of China (CAAC), the Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore (CAAS) and the Flight Safety Foundation (FSF), the theme of the symposium is “Shaping Safety Excellence: A Human-Focused Approach”.
Administrator of CAAC Song Zhiyong, and Secretary General of the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) Juan Carlos Salazar will attend the event and deliver keynote speeches. The summit will invite experts and scholars from domestic and foreign civil aviation authorities, international organizations, airlines, airports, air traffic management, scientific research institutions to hold in-depth discussions on topics such as safety culture, runway safety, artificial intelligence, talent selection, training methodology, personnel competence rust, fatigue management, mental health, etc., so as to better meet the challenges facing aviation safety and jointly improve the level of aviation safety in the Asia-Pacific region and globally.
