On August 2, during a visit to Brazil led by Deputy Administrator of CAAC Hu Zhenjiang, ,CAAC and the Brazilian Civil Aviation Authority signed the Amendment of the Bilateral Implementation Procedures for Airworthiness on Design Approval, Production Activities, Export Airworthiness Certification, Post-Design Approval Activities and Technical Support.
At the same time, under the framework of the bilateral implementation procedures for airworthiness, the two sides negotiated and signed a roadmap for deepening cooperation in airworthiness certification, focusing on four areas, namely, certification of new technology aircraft, certification of light sport aircraft, legislation on airworthiness certification, and airworthiness certification training.
The signing of the implementation procedures for airworthiness and the roadmap for deepening cooperation will create favorable conditions for China and Brazil to further cooperate in airworthiness certification of aviation products, and provide a sound environment for deepened cooperation between industrial enterprises of both sides.
