The 2025 National Civil Aviation Blue Sky Award Commendation Conference and the Launching Ceremony of the Model Worker Lecture Hall Held13/05/2025
On April 29, pending the International Labor Day on May 1st, the 2025 National Civil Aviation Blue Sky Award Commendation Conference and the Launching Ceremony of the Model Worker Lecture Hall were held in Beijing. The meeting fully implemented the guiding principle of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China and the second and third plenary sessions of the 20th Party Central Committee, as well as President Xi Jinping's important speech at the celebration of the 100th anniversary of the All-China Federation of Trade Unions and the commendation conference for national model workers and outstanding workers. It honored the recipients of the 2025 Blue Sky Award Certificate and Blue Sky Medal. Song Zhiyong, Secretary of the CPC Group of CAAC and Administrator of CAAC, attended the conference and delivered a speech. Han Jun, member of the CPC Group of CAAC and Deputy Administrator of CAAC, and Chairman of the Civil Aviation Trade Union, presided over the conference.
At the conference, the commendation decision was read out and the awards were presented, with the Blue Sky Certificate being conferred to 27 entities and 48 teams. 75 persons were honored with the Blue Sky Medal. Wang Yuhan, the captain of the First Squadron of Air China Flight Department and the recipient of the Blue Sky Medal, read the initiative.
Song Zhiyong, on behalf of the CPC Group of CAAC, extended warm congratulations to the outstanding entities and individuals who have been honored. Song paid high tribute to the model workers and outstanding individuals who have made notable contributions to the development of civil aviation over the long term, and conveyed festive greetings to the vast number of employees working in various positions within the civil aviation sector. Song stated that this year marked the final year for the comprehensive completion of the 14th Five-Year Plan and the planning year for the 15th Five-Year Plan, also represented a critical year for promoting the safe and high-quality development of civil aviation. Model workers and outstanding individuals ought to play an active role in setting a vanguard and exemplary example to lead the broad masses of civil aviation employees. In this way, we could fully leverage their role as the main force, contributing to the new civil aviation chapter in accelerating the building up of national transport strength.
