On May 12th, CAAC held a plenary (expanded) monthly Aviation Safety Committee Meeting to convey and learn from President Xi Jinping's recent important instructions and directives on work safety, and implement the relevant work arrangements of the Party Central Committee and the State Council. In light of the safety situation and operation features during thunderstorm season, CAAC deploys the next steps of civil aviation safety work. Song Zhiyong, Administrator of CAAC, attended the meeting and delivered a speech. Hu Zhenjiang and Han Jun, Deputy Administrators of CAAC, and Li Xiaojun, Assistant Director General of the Discipline Inspection and Supervision Group of the Central Commission for Discipline Inspection and the National Supervisory Commission stationed at the Ministry of Transport, also attended the meeting.
