On July 18, Song Zhiyong, Administrator of CAAC, met with Saif Mohammed Al Suwaidi, Director General of the General Civil Aviation Authority of the United Arab Emirates, in Beijing. The two sides exchanged views on strengthening China-UAE civil aviation cooperation in an in-depth way and jointly signed a cooperation document on airworthiness. Both parties expressed willingness to expand mutually beneficial and pragmatic cooperation in areas such as airworthiness certification and air connectivity, working together to advance the China-UAE comprehensive strategic partnership to a higher level.
