On August 6, CAAC held a Publicity and Promotion Meeting for the Launch of the Management System for Air Transport of Dangerous Goods on the Civil Aviation Intelligent Oversight Platform. At the meeting, the overall development progress and pilot operation of the system were introduced, its systematic functions for the management of dangerous goods transport were demonstrated and requirements for its official launch and follow-up operations were laid down.
The meeting emphasized that the soon-to-be-launched Management System for Air Transport of Dangerous Goods aims to "improve services and strengthen safety oversight". By enriching data and content, improving data sharing, and advancing digital workflow processes, the system will significantly improve management efficiency in such areas as licensing and filing for record, operation and handling, personnel training, incident reporting, and data analysis.
The Management System for Air Transport of Dangerous Goods is a key component of the transport (general aviation) market service module under the Civil Aviation Intelligent Oversight Platform. After completing its pilot trial in the central-south region from June to July 2025, the system is set to go online nationwide in September 2025.
