On October 24, the Third CATA Aviation Conference (hereinafter referred to as the Conference) opened in Beijing under the theme Safe, Smart, Sustainable: The Next Era of Air Transport & General Aviation. Han Jun, Deputy Administrator of CAAC, attended and addressed the opening ceremony.
The opening ceremony saw the release of the CATA Air Cargo Self-discipline Convention and the presentation of the 2024 Civil Aviation Scientific and Technological Progress Awards. Hosted by the China Air Transport Association (CATA), the three-day Conference features multiple industry forums and professional exhibitions focusing on green development in civil aviation, technological innovation, civil aviation finance, general aviation development and low-altitude aviation safety, sales agent management, and ideological and political work for flight crew. It fully showcases the new formats of the aviation industry's development. Nearly 200 entities, including airlines, airports, air traffic management entities, aeronautic equipment manufacturers, air logistics companies, aviation financial institutions, and research institutes, participated in the Conference and exhibitions.
