On December 10, Hu Zhenjiang, Deputy Administrator of Civil Aviation Administration of China (CAAC), held a bilateral meeting with Russell Stokes, President and CEO of GE Aerospace's Commercial Engines and Services, in Shanghai.
Both sides spoke highly of GE Aerospace's development in China. GE Aerospace has consistently advanced alongside China's civil aviation industry, and is deeply involved in its modernization efforts. Over the past 45 years, the two parties have established a solid cooperative partnership. They agreed to further enhance the safe operation of engines in China, ensure a stable supply chain for aviation engines, support the development of China's civil aircraft industry, and establish a regular communication mechanism.
As a key component of GE Aerospace's 45th-anniversary activities in China, this meeting reflects the shared commitment of China and the United States to continuously deepen cooperation and mutual learning in the field of aviation. Taking this meeting as an opportunity, both sides will further deepen strategic collaboration and jointly promote the safe, efficient, and sustainable development of the global aviation industry.
