During the 9-day Spring Festival holiday from February 15th to 23rd, China's civil aviation transported a total of 22.05 million passengers and operated 171,000 flights, averaging 2.45 million passengers and 18,956 flights per day. This represents a year-on-year increase of 7.7% and 4.4% respectively compared to the same 9-day period during the 2025 Spring Festival travel rush (January 27th to February 4th, 2025). The regularity rate reached 95.8%, an improvement of 0.6 percentage points compared to the same period in 2025. Notably, on February 23rd, 2026 (the last day of the holiday), a record high of 2.668 million passengers were transported, a 7.6% increase compared to the same peak day in 2025, with 19,601 flights operated, up 4.4% year-on-year.
