On June 11, CAAC convened the monthly Plenary (Expanded) Meeting of its Safety Committee. The meeting further conveyed, studied and implemented the important instructions and directives issued by central leaders on national work safety and civil aviation safety, analyzed the industry's safety performance, and arranged follow-up safety related work. CAAC Administrator Song Zhiyong attended the meeting and emphasized that the entire civil aviation sector must consistently act on the important instructions from General Secretary Xi Jinping and other central leaders. Tailored to summer operational features, safety protocols shall be tightened, the safety foundation consolidated continuously, and full efforts deployed to guarantee safe operations throughout the summer travel peak. Deputy Administrators Hu Zhenjiang, Han Jun, Ma Bing and Liang Nan were present at the meeting.
