On September 17, the 4th China Air Transport Association (CATA) Aviation Conference (hereinafter referred to as "the Conference") opened in Beijing. The three-day Conference has the annual theme of "AI and the Integrated Development of Civil Aviation," and for the first time takes artificial intelligence as the main thread running through its three major segments, including the opening ceremony, industry forums, and professional exhibition. Han Jun, Deputy Administrator of the CAAC, attended the opening ceremony and delivered remarks.
At the opening ceremony, the 2025 CATA Civil Aviation Science and Technology Award was presented. Air China, China Eastern Airlines, China Southern Airlines, Sichuan Airlines, TravelSky, Shanghai Airport Authority, Turkish Airlines, and other entities signed a number of important cooperation agreements.
The Conference is hosted by the China Air Transport Association. It features one main forum and six sub-forums, with topics covering trends in AI applications in civil aviation, aviation logistics, aviation services, civil aviation education and training, and talent development. The professional exhibition covers a total area of about 22,000 square meters, with themed exhibition areas such as corporate brands, AI and aviation technology, aviation services, aviation-culture-tourism integration, science popularization and interaction, and business matchmaking. It creates an immersive experience through physical exhibits, models, and multimedia interaction.
