From October 13 to 15, the 14th Cross-Strait Symposium on Flight Safety and Flight Technology was held in Hangzhou. Xiong Jie, Chief Pilot of Civil Aviation Administration of China (CAAC), attended the seminar and delivered remarks.

With the theme of "Deepening Cross-Strait Civil Aviation Exchanges and Mutual Learning to Jointly Build a New Landscape of Flight Safety and High-Quality Development", the Symposium gathered more than 110 experts, scholars and practitioners from airlines, industry associations and universities across the Taiwan Strait to conduct in-depth exchanges on topics of common concern to the civil aviation industry across the Taiwan Strait, including flight safety and safety culture development, flight training and competency development, smart civil aviation and green development, and complex operating environments and risk prevention and control. Participants jointly explored responses to the key and difficult issues in industry safety development, continued to build consensus on cooperation, and worked together to safeguard the blue sky across the Taiwan Strait, so as to better serve and facilitate personnel exchanges across the Strait.
