Li Jian Meets with EASA Executive Director Patrick Ky --

On January 30, CAAC Deputy Administrator Li Jian met with Mr. Patrick Ky, Executive Director of European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA), who was attending the Asia and Pacific (APAC) Ministerial Conference on Civil Aviation here in Beijing. The two parties exchanged in-depth views on such areas as deepening CAAC-EASA aviation safety cooperation and preparing for the annual CAAC-EASA Aviation Safety Conference, and signed the Letter of Intent between the Civil Aviation Administration of China and the European Aviation Safety Agency for Implementing the 2018 Work Plan of the EU-China Aviation Partnership Project and Roadmap on a New Stage in Aviation Safety Cooperation between the CAAC and EASA: towards Technical Implementation Procedures.
