The 1st Academic Forum on Civil Aviation Medical Assessment and Medical Safety Promotion Training Course Held in Beijing23/07/2019

On July 5, the 1st Academic Forum on Civil Aviation Medical Assessment and Medical Safety Promotion Training Course was successfully held in Beijing. Focusing on specific areas that ensure flight safety such as medical assessment, aero-health security, and health promotion, participants discussed topics such as the current situation, opportunities and challenges faced by civil aviation medical science in an all-round manner. CAAC Deputy Administrator Li Jian attended the forum and delivered a speech.

In recent years, the aero-health work has taken into account of the actual flight operation, and by means of optimizing and improving regulation and standard systems, as well as highlighting classified management and strengthening commercial aviation safety, positive contributions were made to ensure aviation safety. Also, medical examination requirements for general aviation pilots were reduced, and the examination process was simplified, which have greatly promoted general aviation development. The requirements of "delegating power, improving regulation, and upgrading services" have been implemented and creative services carried out to continue the building of information system, and the sense of gains of aviation personnel has enhanced continuously.

This forum consists of a main venue and four parallel sessions. Participants from the aviation industry, such as aero-health management personnel, medical examiners, aero-doctors and other aviation medical personnel attended the forum.
