Low Visibility Operation in Beijing Daxing International Airport Reaches Advanced Level in the World11/09/2019

On August 26, Beijing Daxing International Airport successfully completed the IIIB approach landing, HUD RVR75 meter take-off, and domestic level 4 A-SMGCS system test flight, which represents the advanced level of low visibility operation in the international aviation industry today. This means that Daxing Airport will be equipped with the highest level of low visibility operation supporting capacity in the world from the very outset of its operation, which will effectively reduce flight delays caused by fog, haze and other weather conditions, and improve flight regularity rate, so as to improve passengers' travel experience. CAAC Deputy Administrator Li Jian was present at the validation test flight.
