During his meeting with Mr. Byambasuren Luwsansambuu, Wang Zhiqing said that China and Mongolia are friendly neighbors, and China attaches much importance to civil aviation relations between the two countries. Since a memorandum of understanding on enhancing civil aviation cooperation was signed last year, the two sides have carried out collaborations and shared experience in education and training, air traffic control, and air routes operation, which completely tallies with the theme of this conference. Wang hoped that the two sides would strengthen sharing and cooperation in the future for further development of civil aviation relations. Mr. Luwsansambuu said that there is a huge potential for bilateral cooperation in civil aviation between Mongolia and China, and Mongolia hopes to further enhance and deepen collaboration with China in all aspects of civil aviation.
During his meeting with Mr. Mikhail Bulanov, Wang Zhiqing gave a high evaluation of the civil aviation relations between China and Russia. He said that currently China-Russia relations are the best in history, and civil aviation relations between the two countries have also kept moving forward with positive and effective cooperation in air transport. China hopes to collaborate with Russia in further advancing the development of bilateral civil aviation relations. Mr. Mikhail Bulanov expressed his gratitude for inviting him to attend the conference and hoped the two parties could have further cooperation in flight routes and airworthiness certification and promote the development of air transport in both countries.
When he met with Mr. Agus Santoso, Wang Zhiqing said, Indonesia is an important member state of ASEAN, a key country along the land and maritime Silk Roads, and also one of China’s most important partners. As friendly close neighbors, China and Indonesia have enjoyed a time-honored friendship. The two countries have open communication and extensive collaboration in air route operation and personnel training. It is expected that the two sides will, under the principle of practical cooperation, have more exchanges on relevant issues and promote the bilateral relationship in civil aviation. Mr. Santoso said that in recent years, the relationship between Indonesia and China has been renewed and entered into a fast developing stage, especially in air transport development and people-to-people exchange. Indonesia hopes to further strengthen exchanges and cooperation with China in civil aviation fields, such as airworthiness certification. He also hopes that China will play a more important role in the development of civil aviation in the Asia Pacific region.
