Carry out guidelines and polices concerning retired officials by the CPC Central Committee and the State Council.

Responsible for management of retired officials of CAAC agencies; organize activities for retired officials to read and learn documents and engage in political activities; and enable retired officials to contribute to the development of socialism with Chinese characteristics.

Responsible for funds management, life service, recreational and sports activities, rest and recuperation, medical and health care, burial and sequential arrangement, and vehicle use, etc. for retired officials; and manage venues for activities of retired officials of CAAC agencies.

Guide and inspect work of CAAC directly affiliated entities concerning retired officials; and responsible for statistics of retired officials of CAAC agencies and its directly affiliated entities.

Undertake other tasks assigned by CAAC executives.
