During the 2024 Spring Festival holiday (February 10 — February 17), the air transport market operated smoothly, with a total of 17.992 million transported passengers, and a daily average of 2.249 million passengers, setting a new record high.
During the 2024 Spring Festival holiday, a total of 137,000 flights were supported across the country, with an average of 17,117 flights per day, up by 4.9% from 2019 and by 33.2% from 2023. Among them, the number of domestic passenger flights per day stood at 14,138, an increase of 17.7% and 23.5% respectively compared with 2019 and 2023. The flight regularity rate was 92.7%, up by 9.2 percentage points from 2019, and down by 5.5 percentage points from 2023; the regularity rate of airport flight clearance was 93.5%, up by 7.4 percentage points from 2019, and down by 4.1 percentage points from 2023.
