On February 27, CAAC Deputy Administrator Cui Xiaofeng met with StarLux Airlines CEO Zhai Jianhua and his associates in Beijing. Cui Xiaofeng pointed out that the civil aviation industry plays an important role in promoting talks, and hoped that the aviation industry on both sides of the Taiwan Strait could foster better communication and exchanges, enhance mutual understanding, and act as a bridge and tie, with an aim to jointly build up the cross-strait aviation ties and better serve our people. Zhai Jianhua introduced the development of StarLux Airlines, expressed appreciation for the CAAC support, and conveyed the willingness of the airlines to provide more diverse and convenient options for people on both sides of the Strait through its development.
